LV x Supreme - who said retail is dead?

Ever since luxury brand Louis Vuitton announced their collaboration with skate icons Supreme, their was extreme anticipation about the launch of the collaboration.

The first global pop-up store opened on Gould street, Bondi Beach. Then was followed by Tokyo, LA and NYC.

And the heady anticipation was real as customers cued up day and night from June 30 to July 13, 2017 to get their hands on the collaboration items including leather goods, ready-to-wear, shoes and accessories, as well as exclusive items.

The overwhelming response showed that customers still engage with retail stores. Where a brand can build anticipation and excitement about their products. Leading to PR exposure, people touching and feeling their product, sales revenue and also people will travel anywhere and cue for great product!
